EUMeTrain Marine Course - 2022 - Registrations closed!

In the period from 24 October to 7 December 2022, EUMeTrain will organize a Marine Course led by IPMA in cooperation with EUMETSAT. The course will be held online, both in synchronous and asynchronous modes. The target audience are marine forecasters across Europe and the course aims to strengthen the operational forecasters' competencies in analysing, forecasting and issuing warnings related to hazardous meteorological phenomena.

The EUMeTrain Marine Course aims to cover the most important marine meteorological phenomena with which operational forecasters are confronted daily.

Wind Event Week - 2022

In the week from 28 February to 4 March 2022, EUMeTrain will organize a Wind Event Week. Several online presentations will take place during these 5 days. The presentations will cover many topics related to wind such as aviation, satellite derived winds, renewable energy, radar, sodar and SAF products.

The Wind Event Week aims to covers the diversity of impacts that wind has on many fields in meteorology.
