II. HRV Fog RGB

This high resolution daytime RGB type was designed for monitoring fog/low level water clouds over snow cover during winter. It distinguishes snow-free land from snow covered land and snow cover from fog/low clouds. It provides information on the cloud top phase (water particles or ice crystals on the cloud top) and on the cloud thickness.

III. Snow RGB

This daytime RGB type was designed for monitoring snow cover during winter. It distinguishes snow free from snow covered land and snow cover from fog/low clouds. It provides information on cloud thickness and cloud top phase (water particles or ice crystals on the cloud top).

IV. Night Microphysics RGB

This nighttime RGB was designed and tuned to monitor the evolution of night-time fog / low stratus. Other (secondary) applications are the detection of fires, low-level moisture boundaries and cloud classification in general.

V. Ash RGB

This RGB can be used day and night. It is similar to the Dust RGB, only the tuning is different. It was tuned for volcanic ash and SO2 gas plume detection.
