Example
The Example shows a cloud area over Central Europe. From Sweden southward as far as Austria, the satellite image shows a Detached Warm Front. This particular case shows grey shades in the IR, although there are many cases with medium and brighter cloud tops. The WV image clearly shows the separation of cloudiness between the Warm Front and the Detached Warm Front with darker shades in between.
