In the loop with development and decay convective events are well pictured. Orange and red dots define the regions where the development (decrease of
the cloud top temperature) has occured, whereas the blue areas are those in
which the decay of clouds (increase of the cloud top temperature) happened in the past 15 minutes.
The first sign of development (surrounded with orange and red) can be noticed over the north Adriatic at 1900 UTC. The growth and movement of the convective cells can be monitored. |
