Stationary Occlusion Front 10 Aug 2005/00 UTC - 11 Aug 2005/18 UTC: Temperature Advection
10 Aug 2005/00 UTC
Warm advection is taking place within the whole Occlusion cloud band, with maxima found in the isentropic trough.
10 Aug 2005/06 UTC
Warm advection still takes place throughout the Occlusion cloud band, but weakens a little. A tight gradient is observed at the lower layers of the troposphere,
10 Aug 2005/12 UTC
Warm advection observed especially at middle and higher levels now.
10 Aug 2005/18 UTC
Weakening warm advection still at the Occlusion cloud band, but some cold advection also present in the southern part.
11 Aug 2005/00 UTC
Cold advection in the south intensifies, but within the Occlusion cloud band the warm advection is the dominating feature. A distinct very low level maximum in WA can be seen.
11 Aug 2005/06 UTC
The low level WA maximum still exists but has further weakened. The transport of warm air is diminishing as the depresion further fills.
11 Aug 2005/12 UTC
Warm advection gradually weakens within the cloud band.
11 Aug 2005/18 UTC
Warm advection gradually weakens within the cloud band.
