Isentropes
Through a large convective cell that formed over the past 6 hours it is seen that the lower troposphere is characterised by an unstable stratification. To the west the original cold front can still be observed with foreward aligned isentropes. To the east, in the prefrontal zone, the lowest part of the atmosphere shows is very unstable.

Temperature Advection
The cold front is still dominated by strong CA. Further east in the prefrontal zone two WA maxima are found. One near the surface correlates to the unstable stratification and the rising motions. A second maximum is found aloft that correlates with the cloudtop of the pronounced convective cell.
Convergence
Several convergence maxima are found in the crowding zone of the cold front. In the prefrontal zone also maxima for convergence is found. In the upper layers of the troposphere the outflow is observed as divergence.
Vertical Motion (Omega)
In the upper layers of the troposphere ahead of the front two pronounced maxima for rising motions are observed that assume that the convective cell has reached its mature stage.
