Summary
With FCI we have new channels, providing new information. New RGB schemes can be created to benefit from this new information content: quick and extended guides about them are available on the EUMeTrain website. This document summarizes the recommendations, guidelines and concepts for creating a new RGB scheme and adapting an existing RGB scheme for a new imager. The document focuses on RGBs that are intended to be used routinely by weather forecasters.
