ISENTROPES
| This is a cross section through the occlusion front. The typical Y or X shape is clearly seen. There is a region of high gradient of isentropes inclined upwards in the right-hand side of the cross-section. This is the region with the warm front character. On the other side, to the left of the cross-section, there is a high gradient zone inclined downwards, showing cold front character. Higher IR pixel values (orange line) are found in the part of the cross-section with cold ftont character. |
