ISENTROPES

 

This is a cross section across the warm front, but similar to the case of the cold front, this is also not a typical appearance of the isentropes for the cross-section through a warm front. There is actually no zone of upwards inclined isentropes, as could be expected in the warm front.

RELATIVE HUMIDITY

 

There is a maximum humidity in the middle of the cross-section, more in the upper layers.

TEMPERATURE ADVECTION

 

Temperature advection cross-section shows that warm advection preveals in the whole region, giving this front a warm front character.

WIND SPEED (isotachs)

 

Wind field does not show any prominent maximum, but in the case of the warm front this is also not expected.
