Normally, general assumptions are made for the first two influences and for particular areas. This image gives an overview of radiosoundings from 12 UTC. We see for almost all radiosoundings that gusts of 35 to 38 knots are to be expected (Beaufort 8). We found in general a good correspondence to this value in the measurements. Only in a few cases higher gusts were observed.

At 18 UTC some radio sounding measurements still give high values up to 39 knots in the area of thunderstorms.
