Especially south of the Alps, but also further north in the Czech Republic convection has started. The poistions where hail is likely are marked by a coloured "*". Due to the cirrus-shield and the time difference between satellite image and radar-measurement, no exact match between the position of the cells is observed.

South of the Alps an intensive long line with hail reports is observed. The IR image meanwhile observes some highreaching cold cloudtops.

Most of Austria is covered by a large MCS. The radar also reveals a high signal. Numerous reports of hail are found in the mountainous regions.

A large MCS is seen in the satellite image. A comparison with the previous images however shows that number of hail reports have decreased which is a sign of the decaying convection in this region.
